On Thursday, March 4, 2021, 6:00 – 8:00pm  (Eastern), The Department of Comparative Literature's begins their Black Lives Matter Reading Group.  The Inaugural Event “I Can’t Breathe: Covid-19, Black Lives Matter, and the Summer of our Discontent” features opening remarks by Homi Bhabha with guest speaker Claudia Rankine.  Respondents include AAAS Professor Jesse McCarthy, Mariano Siskind, and the graduate students of Comparative Literature.
