Cacao, Gift of Gods: Celebrating Mesoamerican Cacao and Chocolate Heritage

Over the past year, AAAS Professor Carla D. Martin and the Fine Cacao and Chocolate Institute (FCCI) has worked to secure the return of more than 50 pieces of ancient Mesoamerican art to their countries of origin. In advance of their return, you are invited to come view these ancient works of art, celebrate their significance to the history of cacao chocolate, and taste traditional cacao and chocolate recipes. This event will take place on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2024, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm in the Boston University Food Studies Suite (808 Commonwealth Avenue). Learn more and register for this event here.
