The Institute for Policing, Incarceration, and Public Safety will host a moderated panel conversation on AAAS Professor Tommie Shelby’s newest book, The Idea of Prison Abolition. The event will feature Tommie Shelby, Daryl Atkinson, Vesla Weaver, and Chris Muller. AAAS Professor Brandon Terry & former AAAS Professor Elizabeth Hinton, the Institute’s founding directors, will moderate!
