Racial Disparities from a Public Policy Perspective

Date:

Thursday, February 18, 2021, 4:00pm to 5:00pm

In celebration of Black History Month, Harvard Gender & Sexuality Caucus is holding a two-part "virtual" event series, Race, Ethnicity, and Public Policy in a Global Pandemic (Parts 1 & 2), which will examine the intersectionality of LGBTQ+ issues and race, particularly the African-American experience.  The aim of both events is to contextualize the COVID-19 pandemic through the lens of deeply entrenched racial and ethnic disparities in America and offer insight from Harvard faculty and alumni on how best to address these inequities moving forward.

Part One of the series, Racial Disparities from a Public Policy Perspective, features AAAS Professor Jennifer Hochschild and will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 4:00-5:00p.m.(Eastern).
