 [The Harvard Book Store](https://www.harvard.com/event/chad_williams/) will host author Chad Williams, the Samuel J. and Augusta Spector Professor of History and African and African American Studies at Brandeis University, who will discuss his new book *[The Wounded World: W. E. B. Du Bois and the First World War](https://us.macmillan.com/books/9780374293154/thewoundedworld)*, with [**AAAS Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr**.](/people/henry-louis-gates-jr) on **Monday April 3, 2023**, at 7:00PM, The in-person event is free at the Harvard Book Store, 1256 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, and no tickets are required.
