AAAS Affiliate Christina Cross Wins 2023 ASA Award

The American Sociological Association’s Family Section Article of the Year Award will be awarded to AAAS Affiliate Christina Cross for her recently published co-authored paper “Interlinking structural racism and heteropatriarchy: Rethinking family structure's effects on child outcomes in a racialized, unequal society.”  Professor Cross, the lead author of the paper that addresses a critical issue in the field and should have a profound effect on the way research on families will be conducted and interpreted, will receive the award in August at the ASA Family Section’s award ceremony in Philadelphia.
