#  AAAS Affiliate Professor Emily Greenwood Gives Lecture Series at UPenn

The Department of Classical Studies at the University of Pennsylvania will host **[AAAS Affiliate Professor Emily Greenwood](/people/emily-greenwood)** for the Penn Public Lecture Series. The first lecture titled “Tecumseh and the Shadow of Thucydides” will be held on **Thursday November 10th, 2022**. The second lecture titled “Classics and the Grammar of Loss in the Black Feminist Tradition” will be held on **Tuesday, November 15, 2022**. The third lecture is titled “Remembering Differently: Classical Alibis in contemporary fiction from Fran Ross to Ocean Vuong” and will be held on **Thursday, November 17, 2022**. All three lectures will be held from 5-6:30pm(Eastern) in-person and via Zoom.
