AAAS Alumni Lyndon K. Gill’s book earns an Honorable Mention for the 2018 Ruth Benedict Prize

AAAS Alumni Lyndon K. Gill '10 earns an Honorable Mention for his book, Erotic Islands: Art and Activism in the Queer Caribbean (Duke University Press, 2018).  The 2018 Ruth Benedict Prize is awarded by the Association for Queer Anthropology (AQA), who chooses the winning book for its outstanding scholarship on a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender topic.  This year’s winner is AAAS Professor George Paul Meiu for his book, Ethno-erotic Economies: Sexuality, Money and Belonging in Kenya (University of Chicago Press, 2017).
