#  AAAS Alums Miles & Wang - 2021 National Book Awards Finalists

 The National Book Foundation announced the 2021 National Book Awards finalists. Among the twenty-five finalists are works by two **AAAS Alums** **[Tiya Miles](https://history.fas.harvard.edu/people/tiya-miles)** and J**[ackie Wang](https://www.radcliffe.harvard.edu/people/jackie-wang)**. In the category of Nonfiction is Tiya Miles' book, *[All That She Carried: The Journey of Ashley’s Sack, a Black Family Keepsake](https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/606278/all-that-she-carried-by-tiya-miles/)*.
