The National Book Foundation announced the 2021 National Book Awards finalists. Among the twenty-five finalists are works by two AAAS Alums Tiya Miles and Jackie Wang. In the category of Nonfiction is Tiya Miles' book, All That She Carried: The Journey of Ashley’s Sack, a Black Family Keepsake. (Previously reviewed on 06/09/21). In the category of Poetry is Jackie Wang's book The Sunflower Cast a Spell to Save Us From the Void.
