AAAS Professor Daniel Agbiboa to Lead Conversation re Countering Violent Extremism in Africa

On Thursday and Friday, October 29-30, 2020, AAAS Professor Daniel Agbiboa leads a major partnership between Howard University’s National Resource Center for African Studies and George Mason University’s Carter School for Peace & Conflict Resolution on a US Department of Education Title VI grant (2019-2022) on “Countering Violent Extremism and Making Durable Peace in Africa.”  Professor Agbiboa will lead the two-day virtual global conversation on the role of religion in preventing/countering violent extremism (P/CVE), with experts participating from across the world.
