AAAS Professor Daniel Agbiboa Presents Paper at Columbia University

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, AAAS Professor Daniel Agbiboa presented a paper, entitled “Banned Men: Transport Reform and the Politics of Insanity in Lagos,” at a workshop held at Columbia University, themed “Unwritten Rules: Regulation and Political Bargaining in Transportation in Africa.” The one-day workshop explored forms of power and regulation as well as the bargaining practices of transit workers and users within spaces of transportation and large-scale transit projects in Africa. The event was co-hosted by the Center for Sustainable Urban Development, the Columbia University Institute of African Studies, the Columbia Maison Française, and the Center for International Studies (CERI) at Sciences Po.
