#  AAAS Professor Daniel Agbiboa Presents Paper at Columbia University

On **Tuesday, October 11, 2022**, [AAAS Professor Daniel Agbiboa](/https:/aaas.fas.harvard.edu/people/daniel-e-agbiboa) presented a paper, entitled “Banned Men: Transport Reform and the Politics of Insanity in Lagos,” at a [workshop](https://csud.climate.columbia.edu/news/csud-co-hosts-workshop-unwritten-rules-regulation-and-political-bargaining-transportation) held at Columbia University, themed “Unwritten Rules: Regulation and Political Bargaining in Transportation in Africa.” The one-day workshop explored forms of power and regulation as well as the bargaining practices of transit workers and users within spaces of transportation and large-scale transit projects in Africa. The event was co-hosted by the Center for Sustainable Urban Development, the Columbia University Institute of African Studies, the Columbia Maison Française, and the Center for International Studies (CERI) at Sciences Po.
