#  AAAS Professor Daniel Agbiboa Receives Research Award

This month, **[AAAS Professor Daniel Agbiboa](/people/daniel-e-agbiboa)** has been awarded D£25000 Pound Sterlings by the UK government, through the [Cross-Border Conflict Evidence, Policy and Trends (XCEPT)](https://xcept-research.org/) research program, to produce research assessing multi-actor interventions in cross-border conflict contexts. The XCEPT research program brings together world-leading experts to examine conflict-affected borderlands, how conflicts connect across borders, and the drivers of violent and peaceful behaviour. Professor Agbiboa’s study will assess the complex interactions between multinational military joint task forces (MNJTFs) and civilian joint task forces (CJTFs) prosecuting the war against Boko Haram in Africa’s Lake Chad Basin (including Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger, and Chad).
