The New England Historic Genealogical Society and American Ancestors will host a Winter Family History Benefit honoring AAAS Professor Evelyn Brooks Higginbotham. The evening will include an illustrated presentation by Professor Higginbotham entitled, "History in the Face of Slavery: A Family Portrait," a dialogue with AAAS Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and a Q&A with the audience.
