#  AAAS Professor Gates Featured in NAACP 114th National Convention Panel

On **July 30th, 2023,** the NAACP’s 14th National Convention hosted a panel titled “Hate Has No Home Here” featuring [AAAS Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr.](/people/henry-louis-gates-jr) Professor Gates was joined by NAACP President Derrick Johnson, criminal justice reform advocate Meek Mill, and Kraft Group CEO Robert Kraft, who together shared their insights and personal experiences with the challenges of combating racial injustice and hate crimes.
