#  AAAS Professor George Aumoithe Receives Honorable Mention

The Urban History Association recently anounced their 2022 award winners. **[AAAS Professor George Aumoithe](/people/george-aumoithe)** received an Honorable Mention for the Arnold Hirsch Award for Best Article in a Scholarly Journal. Professor Aumoithe's article entitled ["Dismantling the Safety-Net Hospital: The Construction of ‘Underutilization’ and Scarce Public Hospital Care"](https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/00961442211056971) was published in the *Journal of Urban History*.
