AAAS Professor Glenda Carpio to Speak at Bard

On Thursday, April 20, 2023, Bard College will host AAAS Professor Glenda Carpio to give the inaugural lecture of the Rethinking Place: Bard-on-Mahicantuck Toni Morrison Lecture Series.  Professor Carpio's talk titled “Migrant Aesthetics,” the same title as her forthcoming book due for release in July by Columbia University Press, explores immigrant literature and the need for a new paradigm for migrant fiction.  More information on the lecture series is available on Bard's website.
