On **Thursday, November 18, 2021**, at 12:30pm (Eastern), The City College of New York (CCNY) will host an event titled "Talking Stories: Celebrating the Legacy of Jamaica Kincaid.". This event of award-winning Caribbean authors and students will celebrate **[AAAS Professor Jamaica Kincaid](/people/jamaica-kincaid)** as part of CCNY's Langston Hughes Festival at which she'll be the recipient of the 2021 Langston Hughes Medal.
