The New York Times published an article titled "National Endowment for the Humanities Announces $33.17 Million in Grants" in which is was reported that the Manhattan organization
Women Make Movies will receive $500,000 toward the production of a documentary film that explores the life and work of
AAAS Professor Jamaica Kincaid. The forthcoming movie titled “Jamaica Kincaid: Liberating the Daffodil,” will be directed by Stephanie Black.
