The article's author writes about a recent photo of a woman wearing a burka playing cricket with her son that was spread throughout social media and became the subject of attention and criticism. He analyzes AAAS Professor Jamaica Kincaid's story through a Bangladeshi perspective to comment on this image and the reaction to it, and the sociological and idealogical security of Bangladeshi women.
