#  AAAS Professor Jarvis Givens Finalist of 2022 MAAH Book Award

On **Tuesday, September 6, 2022**, Boston's Museum of African American History (MAAH) announced that **[AAAS Professor Jarvis Givens](/people/jarvis-r-givens)** is one of two $10,000 finalists in their MAAH Stone Book Award for his recent book. *[Fugitive Pedagogy: Carter G.
