On **Monday, May 2, 2022**, **[AAAS Professor John Mugane](/people/john-m-mugane)** was informed that his project “THIOMI_LughaNLP_Africa: An Language, Culture and Technology Initiative,” will receive funding in the amount of $75,000 from the spring 2022 cycle of the Dean’s Competitive Fund for Promising Scholarship.
