#  AAAS Professor John Stauffer Co-Curates Douglass Exhibit

On **Tuesday, May 16, 2023**, the *Smithsonian* published an article titled  
"National Portrait Gallery Presents 'One Life: Frederick Douglass'" announcing the opening of an exhibition exploring the life and legacy of Frederick Douglass. The exhibit that will be on view from June 16, 2023 through April 21, 2024, was co-curated by **[AAAS Professor John Stauffer](/people/john-stauffer)**.
