AAAS Professor Kay Shelemay Receives Cabot Fellowship

Dean Claudine Gay and the Divisional Deans have honored AAAS Professor Kay Shelemay as a Walter Channing Cabot Fellow for the current academic year.  Professor Shelemay receives this prize fellowship in recognition of her outstanding contributions in her field, including the 2022 publication of Sing and Sing On: Sentinel Musicians and the Making of the Ethiopian American Diaspora. Professor Shelemay previously received this award during the 2001-2002 academic year.  A public announcement will appear online in The Harvard Gazette during the month of June.
