AAAS Professor Michèle Lamont Featured in The Harvard Gazette

On Friday, May 5, 2023, The Harvard Gazette published an article titled "In uncertain times, members of Gen Z craft their own ‘plausible futures’" which reports on a recently published paper in the journal Sociological Science, which analyzes on how interviewed Gen Z college students define success for themselves and re-imagine the American Dream.  One of the three co-authors of the paper titled “Recreating a Plausible Future: Combining Cultural Repertoires in Unsettled Times” is AAAS Professor Michèle Lamont who will utilize data collected from the interviews in her next book, Seeing Others: How Recognition Works—and How It Can Heal a Divided World, scheduled for publication on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  The article can be read on The Harvard Gazette's website.
