AAAS Professor van Waijenburg to Speak at Northwestern and Stanford

AAAS Professor Marlous van Waijenburg  will give a talk entitled "The race between education and technology in Africa and Asia, 1870-2010" in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.   The following week on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, Professor van Waijenburg will give a talk in the Department of Economics at Stanford University entitled "Financing the African colonial state: Fiscal capacity and forced labor."
