On Wednesday, June 9, 2021, NPR's Morning Edition aired a story titled "Floating Along In Uncertainty With Vijay Iyer" in which AAAS Professor Vijay Iyer was interviewed regarding his new work "Supernatant." Professor Iyer's commissioned work is the last entry in the year long Morning Edition Song Project which asked twenty-five musicians to write an original song to make sense of and chronicle their experience through the tumult of the COVID pandemic.
