#  AAAS Professor Vincent Brown Cundill History Prize Runner-Up

 On Thursday, December 3, 2020, [The Cundhill History Prize](https://www.cundillprize.com/news/2020winner) announced this year's prize recipients. **[AAAS Professor Vincent Brown](/people/vincent-brown)** was selected a runner-up for his book *[Tacky's Revolt: The Story of an Atlantic Slave War](https://www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog.php?isbn=9780674737570)* and will receive a Recognition of Excellence Award and $10,000.
