On Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 12:00 PM – 1:00PM (Eastern) AAAS Professor Vincent Brown will participate in a Brown Bag Virtual Conversation presented by The Royall House and Slave Quarters.
During the conversation, Acts of Rebellion: A Conversation with Drs. Vincent Brown and Tim McCarthy, there'll be discussion regarding the role of protests and revolts in shaping Black resistance and freedom movements from slave rebellions in the 18th-century Atlantic world to the Black Lives Matter Movement today. This talk is co-sponsored by The Charles Warren Center for Studies in American History.
