#  AAAS Professor Vincent Brown on Trinity College Advisory Board

On **Wednesday, February 17, 2021** the *Irish Examiner* published an article entitled ["Trinity College study to investigate university's links to British Empire and slavery"](https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-40228601.html) in which it was reported that Trinity College has begun an extensive investigation, Trinity’s Colonial Legacies Project, to research its connections to slavery and examine its historical and intellectual connections to empire, especially in the Atlantic World. **[AAAS Professor Vincent Brown](/people/vincent-brown)** is part of an advisory board which will oversee the work of the project.
