On **Wednesday, April 7, 2021**, **[AAAS Professor Walter Johnson](/people/walter-johnson)** was featured in an article in *The Harvard Gazette* entitled "Black identities ‘In the City’". The article reports on Professor Johnson's collaboration in an online photography exhibition, [“In the City: Memories of Black Presence,”](https://www.thegriotmuseum.com/events/in-the-city-exhibit-opening) at the Griot Museum of Black History in St. Louis. The online exhibit shows the works of six photography-based artists from or living in St. Louis’ north side.
