AAAS Professor Walter Johnson Featured in Smithsonian Magazine

On Thursday, December 3, 2020, Smithsonian Magazine posted an article titled "Smithsonian Scholars Pick Their Favorite Books of 2020" in which AAAS Professor Walter Johnson's  recent book The Broken Heart of America: St. Louis and the Violent History of the United States was chosen as part of the Smithsonian's wide-ranging list offering much-needed context for the issues at the forefront of the national conversation.
