DESCRIPTION:<p>	<strong><a href="internal:/people/brandon-terry" target="_blank" title="Professor Terry's Faculty Bio">AAAS Professor Brandon Terry</a></strong> will be the featured speaker on Thursday, October 1, 2020, from 1:30-2:30pm (Eastern) as part of the Harvard Kennedy School's Carr Center for Human Rights Policy's signature weekly series this fall, <em>The Fierce Urgency of Now</em>.</p><p>	The series features Black, Indigenous, People of Color scholars, activists, and community leaders, and experts from the Global South.   <em>The Fierce Urgency of Now</em> is hosted and facilitated by Sushma Raman and Mathias Risse and also aligns with a course they will co-teach this fall at the Harvard Kennedy School on Economic Justice: Theory and Practice.</p><p>	The virtual event is free and registration is required through their <a href="https://carrcenter.hks.harvard.edu/event/race-and-economic-justice" target="_blank" title="Carr Center Event Page">website</a>.</p>
