DESCRIPTION:On <strong>Tuesday, May 11, 2021</strong> at 8:00pm(Eastern), the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) and <em>PBS Books</em> will present A Special Conversation between <strong><a href="internal:/people/jarvis-r-givens" target="_blank" title="Professor Givens' Faculty Bio">AAAS Professors Jarvis Givens</a></strong> &amp; <strong><a href="internal:/people/cornel-r-west" target="_blank" title="Professor West's Faculty Bio">Cornel West</a></strong> regarding Professor Givens' new book released this month, <em><a href="https://www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog.php?isbn=9780674983687" target="_blank" title="Publisher's Book Page">Fugitive Pedagogy: Carter G.
