DESCRIPTION:<p>	On <strong>Thursday, October 6, 2022</strong>, at 4:00pm, the Hutchins Center Honors presents the  W. E. B Du Bois Medal Ceremony at Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall, Harvard University.  The W. E. B. Du Bois Medal is Harvard's highest honor in the field of African and African American studies. It is awarded to individuals in the United States and across the globe in recognition of their contributions to African and African American culture and the life of the mind.  This event is free, however, tickets are required.  Free tickets will be available via the <a href="https://www.boxoffice.harvard.edu/Online/default.asp?BOparam::WScontent::loadArticle::permalink=hutchins-center" target="_blank">Harvard Box Office</a> on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at noon.  For more information and to see this year's honorees, visit the Hutchins Center's <a href="https://hutchinscenter.fas.harvard.edu/event/2022-hutchins-center-honors" target="_blank">website</a>.</p>
