Christian Gines (he/him) is a Sophomore in Mather House pursuing a Joint Concentration in History and Literature and African American Studies. Christian is the treasurer of the Harvard Debate Council, a writer for The Harvard Crimson Editorial and Arts Board, and a recipient of Harvard’s Legacy of Slavery Research Grant. Christian’s research interests are Black Aesthetics, Revolutionary Politics, and Plantation Legacies.
