Harmoni Turner (she/her/hers) is a sophomore in Kirkland house double concentrating in Sociology and African & African American Studies, with a secondary in government.

Ms. Turner's interest in AAAS is focused on gender, race, and ethnicity, and the lack of rights that are given to people of color, specifically Black women. She is on Harvard's women’s basketball team and last year, her first year playing at the collegiate level, she received Rookie of the Year honors.  

During the summer of 2022 she interned as a professor assistant at the Harvard Business school and had the opportunity to meet Tiffany Haddish, Dirk Nowinski, and Tamika Catchings.  In the summer of 2023 she will intern for the Spurs, working and shadowing the CEO of the team.  

While in school she hopes to better the equity and equality amongst women athletes and be a civil rights activist for the betterment and equality for the Black community.
