Junnan Mu is a doctoral student in the department of African and African American Studies with a primary field in Anthropology and a secondary field in Critical Media Practice. Junnan received a BA in Advertising from Zhejiang University and a MA in Governing the Large Metropolis from Sciences Po Paris. Her current researches focus on city branding, digital technology, smart city in Africa with a particular interest in themes of futurity, fetishism, and spatiality.
