Timothy Ogene
Lecturer in African Literary and Cultural Studies
Timothy Ogene is a writer and lecturer in African literary and cultural studies at Harvard. He is a graduate of St Edward's University (BA) and the universities of Oxford (MSt), East Anglia (MA) and Cambridge (PhD). His first novel, The Day Ends Like Any Day, was named Book of the Year by the African LiteratureĀ Association, and his book of poems, Descent & Other Poems, was a finalist for theĀ Glenna Luschei Prize for African Poetry. His second novel, Seesaw, is forthcoming with Swift Press. He is presently at work on a novel and a book of literary criticism on contemporary African literature.
