Warrick Moses
African Studies, with a primary field in Music
Warrick is a doctoral student in the Department of African and African American Studies, with a primary field in Ethnomusicology. His primary research addresses the intersections of race, ethnicity, and popular music in the Western Cape region of South Africa.
Originally from Cape Town, Warrick received his Bachelor of Music (Honors) degree in clarinet performance from the South African College of Music, University of Cape Town. As a Fulbright scholar, he completed a Master of Woodwind Performance degree (Clarinet Performance) at Boston University, and also holds a Master of Arts (Ethnomusicology) degree from Tufts University.
